DeskRecall local processing
DeskRecall is designed as a local-first Mac app. The app indexes only folders that the user explicitly selects through the macOS folder picker.
DeskRecall processes file names, file paths, thumbnails, OCR text, PDF text, summaries, and local search data on the user's Mac. These files and index data are not uploaded to TONKLEY INNOVATIONS LTD. servers.
The local DeskRecall index is stored on the user's device. Users can remove folders from the app and can clear or rebuild the local index from within the app.
